When Clark was born, he exhibited signs of liver failure causing concern from his medical team. His doctors soon discovered that he had a type of liver disease that affects only 1 in every 20, 000 children. At only 6-weeks old, Clark had his first major surgery to help delay the progression of the disease.
Roughly a year after his surgery, Clark became tired and started falling ill more often. In the fall of 2017(at the age of 2), Clark was added to the transplant list. Within a month, Clark’s family received the call that Clark would receive a new liver. Clark’s transplant was successful and after an 18-day hospital stay he was able to go home.
Today, Clark is your average toddler. He loves Doc McStuffins®, Paw Patrol®, bubbles, balls and of course playing outside with his sister. He also loves Mickey Mouse! For his wish Clark wished to go to Walt Disney World® to meet Mickey Mouse.
Clark is also excited to explore SeaWorld® Orlando during his wish trip!
“He will be able to see so many animals” said Clark’s mom, “I’m so excited to see his face light up and for him to see the magic!”
