Canyon is a people person and loves to be around others. He is cheerful, outgoing, and friendly, and he can put a smile on anyone’s face. Canyon was born with a birth defect that took doctors nearly 10 years to diagnose.
Ultimately, Canyon was diagnosed with a very rare disease. In fact, only 50 cases of his condition have been identified in the world. He struggles to walk and move at times, but Canyon does not let that stop him. Canyon is a proud owner of a snow cone stand in his small town which keeps him very busy.
When Canyon learned his condition qualified him to receive a wish, he asked for a trip to Hawaii. He has not been able to travel much because of his condition, so this trip will be a major milestone for him. This will be Canyon’s first time on a plane, first time on a beach and his first time touching the ocean. Canyon cannot wait! He is especially excited to see the dolphins and go to a real Hawaiian Luau!
