Meet Logan: an inquisitive, insightful, Kit Kat candy bar loving 11-year-old. He needs a liver transplant but hasn’t let that stop him from his active outdoor life as a bmx rider, skier, and snowboarder.
Logan dreamed of swimming, palm trees, and white sand beaches. His wish was to visit the beautiful Bahamas, and he knew exactly where he wanted to stay—Atlantis. Logan loved being independent and exploring at will, and he couldn’t get enough of the slides—he rode the two massive slides that take you through a tunnel submerged in a shark-filled lagoon at least 20 times. His water adventures didn’t end there, he saw sea turtles, fish, and coral on his scuba experience. He went snorkeling, took an ocean kayaking trip, and enjoyed the warm beaches.
Logan spent some quality time with the sea lions, feeding them, commanding tricks, and even getting a sloppy kiss! Logan’s favorite part of the trip was the dolphin experience. He and his family spent an hour frolicking with the friendly creatures, feeding them, talking to them, rubbing their bellies, and getting a picture with them. What made Logan’s trip extra special was the family’s decision to completely unplug from all electronic devices for the entire trip. Doing so allowed for quality family time and bonding, ensuring the already memorable trip was completely unforgettable.
