Bailey, 15, is a teen who captures everyone’s heart. She was just eight months old when she was diagnosed with cystic fibrosis. Since then, her daily routines consist of nebulizer treatments, enzymes, thumping, and all sorts of medication intakes. Even with all this, Bailey has developed a structured routine and is currently doing very well. She is thriving in school, loves to cheer, and be outdoors.
Bailey declared her wish at A Wishing Place, telling everyone she wished to go to Atlantis Bahamas Resort®. Her wish was no surprise to her family.
“Give her the beach and sand, and she’s happy,” her mom explained. As her wish approached, Bailey dreamed about having her feet buried beneath the sand. Bailey loves the water; and she has always wanted to swim with dolphins!
While in Atlantis, Bailey spent her days hanging out by the pool and ocean. The weather was absolutely perfect the entire time, which allowed Bailey and her family to sight-see, take walks, and visit all of the underground fish tanks.
Now Bailey is simply enjoying her summer break. She is looking forward to a family trip to California at the end of July where she will get to enjoy sunny skies, ocean breeze, and sand between her toes. She will also be receiving her driver’s license soon, which mom jokingly warns drivers to “stay off the roads!”
