For me, Make-A-Wish is one of the best things a kid could ask for. It's one of the small number of positives in the many hundreds of negatives I've had in my life. Everyone treats you like you are just like everyone else, which is something kids with disabilities or illness need. We like to feel like everyone else because we are a little different, we are a little unique. The Make-A-Wish process is fun and exciting, and it doesn't matter what age you are; it's one to remember. It's not just full of magic and adventure, it's full of hope. Hope is what everyone needs. We need to know that it'll all be ok. Make-A-Wish is hope for a better tomorrow.
