Each year the Make-A-Wish Foundation^® of Utah hosts unique and exciting opportunities for individuals, families, and businesses to become involved in making wishes come true for Utah children with life-threatening medical conditions.

Wish Gala: April 14, 2012
Salt Lake City
The annual wish gala is a magical evening celebrating the mission of the Make-A-Wish Foundation.  Guests are treated to gourmet food and drink, silent and live auctions, and a moving wish program. 
Whether you’re looking for a great networking opportunity with clients and fellow community members, or just a fun night out on the town, you won’t want to miss our gala. Urban Challenge Utah: The Ultimate Wish Adventure: June 9, 2012
The Gallivan Center, Salt Lake City
Utah’s toughest, wackiest competitors will take to the streets of Salt Lake, navigating their way to different landmarks and local businesses, where they will complete tasks that challenge the body, mind and senses. Participants can run, bike or use public transportation to get from one challenge to the next. Last year, our daredevils participated in a wet and wild bucket brigade with Unified Fire, duked it out hockey style with the Utah Grizzlies, tested their knowledge of the Utah Jazz at ESA, survived a grueling boot camp challenge with Bootcamp by Jess, and much more. Rubber Ducky Derby: August 25, 2012
The Rubber Ducky Derby, our annual grassroots fundraiser, invites the entire community to sponsor rubber duckies for $6, and culminates with thousands of duckies “racing” around a lazy river, while being cheered on by wish families and Foundation supporters. In 2011, Make-A-Wish^® supporter Nick Corral was the lucky ducky to take home the grand prize - $15,000 to any Mark Miller dealership! Dozens of other participants took home great prizes as well. The Rubber Ducky Derby is an easy way to make a small donation that will have an a big impact. Ducky sponsorships will be available in late spring of 2012. Purchase a ducky yourself, or get your company involved with our Duckies in the Workplace program.

Wish100: October 13, 2012
Washington County
Ladies! Come ride for wishes amongst the beautiful red rock scenery of Washiongton County at Wish100! Our women-only cycling event will be back in Southern Utah for its second year in October 2012. Four course lengths will be offered – 10, 30, 60, and 100 miles, allowing everyone from the experienced cyclist, to the novice, to have an amazing time. The course will wind through scenic St. George, Utah amidst the beautiful autumn weather and will end with a festive, finish line celebration, fun for the whole family. Grab your girlfriends and join us for the first ever Wish 100 ride! Incentives available for different fundraising levels achieved. For more information, please visit www.wish100utah.org. Registration opens in spring of 2012 – space is limited.
